Karur Mobile App is created to provide the people of Karur (an area in the state of Tamil Nadu in India) with a platform to stay updated on the Events, Activities, Quiz and give feedback through questions (objective type) posted on the app from time to time.

The concept -
People who live in Karur are validated by a voter list (the voter list is publicly available at the website - https://www.elections.tn.gov.in/SSR2023.aspx) to ensure junk users/data is not collected by the app.

Once a person registers in the app, they are provided a screen to add more users. These added users are given app download link and OTP through automated whatsApp message.

The system admin posts a question (objective type) everyday. The people of Karur who have the app respond to those questions and those who provide regular feedback are rewarded on public events.The information of those public events is also posted as questions (in a way that people choose which date the event should be organised out of 3-4 options given with the question). The permanent features of the app is for the users to upload their profile picture, their location of residence and responding to questions as and when posted. Whenever a question is posted, an app alert is received by the user.
